Umamusume: Refunds Fans After Cancelled Concert [Confirmed]

Cygames announced on October 21, 2026 that it will fully reimburse fans for cancelled flight and hotel fees after the Umamusume: Pretty Derby concert in Los Angeles was called off and delayed due to the visa issues. According to verified reports from Kotaku, the company initially planned only ticket refunds but expanded the policy overnight to cover travel expenses for anyone who booked trips specifically for the event. The statement cited fan backlash on X, where users criticized Cygames for last‑minute visa paperwork and blamed the Trump administration. Cygames pledged to cover cancellation fees for those who cancelled travel and to reimburse actual travel and lodging costs for fans already in Los Angeles, provided they meet the outlined requirements. The next concert stop is slated for London, though dates remain TBD. For more on Cygames' consumer actions, see our coverage of the Samson Studio bankruptcy .
