Dota 2 PARI Universe: Team Yandex Beats Team Liquid [Recap]

Team Yandex defeated Team Liquid 2-1 to capture the top seed in Group A at PARI Universe, securing a direct playoff upper-bracket berth after Ammar 'ATF' Al-Assaf triumphed over former teammate Stanislav 'Malr1ne' Potorak in a heated three-game showdown. According to verified reports from Esports.gg, the clash marked the first competitive encounter between ATF and Malr1ne since their dominant run on Team Falcons. Malr1ne returned from an extended post-TI sabbatical to take over mid lane duties for Liquid following Michał 'Nisha' Jankowski's departure. The series proved electric, featuring constant in-game tipping and spirited chat banter as both squads traded blows across the map. Team Yandex shook off a second-game stumble, mounting a relentless push in Game 3 that overwhelmed Liquid's defensive lines. Their tactical discipline mirrored themes seen in our analysis of the [Best Revenge Video Games: Action Narrative Ranking [2026 Guide]](/news/best-revenge-games-action-ranking), as ATF systematically dismantled his former ally across neutral objective fights. With this victory, Team Yandex locks in prime playoff seeding, while Liquid drops into the lower bracket path.
