The One Who Hears the Voice Quest Guide

The One Who Hears the Voice is an Ascension quest in Aion 2, which means it marks a step up in your character's journey rather than a routine errand. It is built around a dream world sequence, and completing it unlocks Pantheon content, so it is worth doing properly instead of rushing past. Both factions follow the same core steps, even though the surrounding story chain differs, so the method below works whichever side you play.

Begin by opening your journal and teleporting to Dream Crossroad, the dream world hub for this questline. Once there, speak to Asahr, who stands beside the giant mirror. Asahr is your anchor for this quest: you start with them, and you return to them at the end, so if you ever lose track of the quest, heading back to Asahr beside the mirror is the right move.

After speaking with Asahr, you face the Dream Guardian waves, a combat sequence that tests whether you can hold your ground through repeated assaults. Clear the waves steadily rather than burning everything on the first group, and once the guardians fall, loot the Dream of Willpower Fragment. The fragment is the tangible proof of the trial, so make sure it is in your possession before moving on.

With the fragment secured, activate the Dream Artifact, which triggers the Siel scene, a story beat that ties the dream trial together. After the scene plays out, speak to Asahr again to complete the quest. That final conversation closes the loop and opens up the Pantheon content the quest gates, marking your Ascension step as done.
