Aion 2 Skill Queue and Combat Guide

Skill queueing means lining up your next skill while your current one is still playing out, so the next skill fires the moment the first finishes. In combat flow terms, it removes the dead gap between actions and keeps your damage and utility rolling. Without queueing, every skill waits for your input after the previous one ends, and those tiny delays add up across a long fight.

A good rotation is built as a chain, not as a pile of favourite skills. Order your skills so each one flows into the next, with builders feeding into spenders and cooldowns placed where they do the most work. Practise the chain in a low-pressure setting until the order feels automatic, because a rotation you have to think hard about will fall apart the moment a fight gets chaotic.

Queueing is for the predictable parts of a fight, where you know the next skill is correct regardless of small changes. Reacting is for the unpredictable parts, such as dodging a telegraphed attack, interrupting a cast, or responding to a sudden shift in the fight. The skill is knowing which moment you are in: queue through your stable damage windows, and keep your hands free to react when the boss or opponent changes the script.

Practise in stages. First, run your chain slowly until the order is memorised, then speed it up until it feels natural. Next, add movement, since a rotation that only works while standing still is useless in real combat. Finally, practise against content that forces reactions, so you learn to break out of your queue cleanly when you need to. That staged approach builds a rotation that survives contact with a real fight.
