Sonic Adventure 2: Viral Pumpkin Hill Costume Revealed [Confirmed]

Cosplay artist Shafrir captivated the gaming community in late October 2026 by debuting an interactive, wearable recreation of the iconic Pumpkin Hill stage from Sonic Adventure 2, featuring a functional emerald-tracking radar system that allows observers to physically hunt hidden treasures. According to verified reports from Kotaku, the elaborate ensemble integrates three-dimensional platforms, floating ghost motifs, and a miniature Knuckles figurine mounted directly on the shoulder. Beyond static aesthetic appeal, Shafrir engineered an electronic Master Emerald detection necklace that reacts dynamically with proximity sensors embedded inside the dress terrain. Observers can move the Knuckles figure across the costume's fabric topography to receive authentic hot-or-cold signal feedback until finding the buried shard. This interactive showcase coincides with seasonal community creations across gaming culture, running parallel to player-driven projects like the [Red Dead Redemption 2 Undead Damnation Mod [Confirmed]](/news/rdr2-undead-damnation-announced-halloween). The engineering fidelity demonstrates how tactile gaming memorabilia elevates fan expression beyond standard wardrobe design. Kotaku highlighted that the craftwork challenges conventional Halloween standards, blending retro Sega nostalgia, physical micro-electronics, and artisanal tailoring into an authentic, playable tribute to the classic Dreamcast platforming franchise.
