Redwall Returns: Orphans of Mossflower Book Set [Confirmed]

The beloved fantasy book franchise Redwall is officially returning after a sixteen-year absence with a brand-new installment titled Orphans of Mossflower, bringing Brian Jacques' legendary woodland animal lore back to global readers and gaming enthusiasts worldwide through an authorized literary revival. According to verified reports from Polygon, publisher Penguin Random House Children's UK confirmed that acclaimed author and illustrator Chris Riddell will collaborate on the new project alongside the Brian Jacques estate. For twenty-five years spanning 1986 through 2011, Jacques captivated audiences across twenty-two epic novels. The final installment, The Rogue Crew, hit shelves posthumously in 2011, leaving the franchise dormant until this landmark announcement. The revival comes as gaming studios increasingly look toward classic high-fantasy intellectual properties for transmedia adaptations, tabletop roleplaying frameworks, and narrative adventure experiences. Players exploring medieval fantasy worlds often track parallel game expansions alongside modern titles like [COD Modern Warfare 4 Trophies: Campaign Guide [Full List]](/news/cod-modern-warfare-4-campaign-trophies) and upcoming action-adventure releases. The Brian Jacques Estate expressed immense pride in continuing the saga, emphasizing that the upcoming story honors Jacques' signature storytelling, feast descriptions, and tactical siege warfare between noble woodland defenders and marauding vermin clans.
