UFC: Joaquin Buckley Announces Final Retirement Fight [Confirmed]

UFC welterweight contender Joaquin Buckley officially announced that his next walk to the Octagon will be his final professional mixed martial arts bout, choosing to retire following an emotional conversation with his grandmother. According to verified reports from Sportskeeda Esports & BGMI, the explosive 32-year-old knockout specialist revealed his farewell plans across his official social media channels following his main event clash against Mike Malott at UFC Fight Night. Buckley explained that family priorities and longevity superseded lingering championship aspirations, prompting him to organize one definitive farewell bout to cap off his high-octane career. Known across combat sports and gaming culture for delivering viral highlight knockouts, Buckley aims to deliver one last signature performance before hanging up his four-ounce gloves permanently. Similar to high-profile creators addressing long-term career pivots, such as seen when [HasanAbi Threatens Legal Action Over Slur Claims [Confirmed]](/news/hasanabi-slur-allegations-ted-cruz-response), Buckley is taking control of his personal legacy and public narrative on his own terms. His sudden exit announcement reshuffles the welterweight rankings hierarchy and sets the stage for a heavily publicized farewell contest under the UFC banner later this season.
