GTA 5 Realistic Uber Mod: Play Los Santos Rideshare [Confirmed]

According to verified reports from PC Gamer published in 2026, a creative modder has introduced a fully functional and realistic Uber driving simulator into Grand Theft Auto 5 via the Goober & Goober Eats modification. The modification replaces standard criminal activities with legitimate gig economy labor, spawning a dedicated work phone that binds to players and generates dynamic passenger pick-up and food delivery routes across Los Santos. Players navigate urban traffic, manage customer satisfaction ratings, and earn in-game currency through ridesharing mechanics that rival standalone simulation titles. According to PC Gamer's ongoing exploration of community mods, this project exemplifies how passionate developers continue to stretch Rockstar Games' engine capabilities ahead of future franchise releases. Sandbox enthusiasts looking for fresh gameplay loops can also explore other innovative sandbox titles like [Direland: New Minecraft-Inspired Sandbox Game [Confirmed]](/news/direland-minecraft-sandbox-game-revealed) to experience alternative open-world mechanics. The modification transforms the notoriously chaotic map into an unexpected economic simulation where obeying traffic laws and managing fares provides an amusing counterpoint to typical high-octane heists.
