Gran Turismo PS5 DualSense Preorder [Confirmed] – $84.99, Dec 10

The new DualSense model delivers enhanced haptic feedback and adaptive trigger resistance calibrated for Gran Turismo’s force‑feedback steering, giving pro racers finer control over acceleration and braking. The carbon‑fiber front plate improves grip during intense lap battles, reducing slippage in high‑G cornering. As GT e‑sports leagues adopt the controller as the official peripheral, teams will likely standardize on its ergonomics, potentially narrowing equipment‑based skill gaps. Players who switch from standard DualSense may experience a brief adaptation period, but the tactile upgrades are projected to lower average lap times by 0.3‑0.5 seconds in time‑trial events. Tournament organizers have confirmed the controller will be mandatory for the upcoming GT World Tour season, raising qualification stakes for teams still using legacy hardware.
