Demon's Souls Remake PC Port: 120 FPS Emulation [Confirmed]

According to verified reports from PC Gamer, the PlayStation 5 exclusive Demon's Souls Remake has officially broken its console constraints, achieving a staggering 120 frames per second on a high-end PC rig utilizing unofficial software. Leveraging the unofficial KytyPS5 translation layer, hardware enthusiast YouTuber Geralt Benchmarks demonstrated the 2020 remake running seamlessly on an RTX 5070 and AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D setup. The footage reveals the title scaling past 100 fps at 1440p resolution via 2x DLSS frame generation, eventually hitting a buttery 120 fps at 1080p resolution. This breakthrough shatters Sony's official console hardware limits, which cap the game at a locked 60 fps in 1440p performance mode. Similar to major overhauls seen in titles like the [Final Fantasy 7 Revelation: Hard Mode Overhaul [Confirmed]](/news/ff7-revelation-hard-mode-changes), this emulation milestone proves that current-gen console exclusives are increasingly vulnerable to high-performance PC translation. Enthusiasts and hardware testers continue to monitor these translation layers as frame generation technologies mature rapidly across global PC markets. This development signals a monumental leap forward for preservationists and PC gamers eager to experience high-fidelity console masterpieces without proprietary hardware bottlenecks.
