Black Clover: 6 Characters Who Rival Julius [Ranked]

Six elite warriors officially rival or surpass the 28th Wizard King Julius Novachrono in Black Clover, led by supreme devil host Lucius Zogratis, the demon king Lucifero, and Anti-Magic specialist Asta alongside Lumiere Silvamillion Clover, Licht, and Mereoleona Vermillion. According to verified reports from Game Rant, Julius Novachrono established an unbeatable benchmark early in the series using his formidable Time Magic and Chrono Stasis. However, escalating conflicts across the Spade Kingdom and final arc narratives introduced combatants capable of nullifying or outspeeding temporal manipulation. Lucius Zogratis, inhabiting the same vessel as Julius, wields Soul Magic combined with purified Time Magic to stand at the undisputed pinnacle of magical supremacy. Meanwhile, Lucifero's Gravity Magic warps space itself, preventing temporal spells from taking hold. The canonical hierarchy also solidifies Asta's mastery of Anti-Magic and Devil Union as a hard counter to Julius's mana pool, while Lumiere and Licht utilize legendary elven and light synergies that match prime Wizard King speeds. Mereoleona rounds out the elite sextet through raw Hellfire Incarnate mana zone supremacy, proving that biological limits can shatter even temporal mastery.
