BGMI vs PUBG Mobile in Pakistan

BGMI, short for Battlegrounds Mobile India, is Krafton's version of the game made for India, with its own servers, events and publishing rules. Players in Pakistan play the global version of PUBG Mobile, not BGMI. The two versions look similar and share most gameplay, but they are separate products: accounts, servers, events and version builds differ. Any guide, code or file labelled BGMI was made for the Indian version, not for the game Pakistani players actually open.

Pakistani search results are full of BGMI content because the creator communities overlap: many popular creators play BGMI, their videos rank for the same phrases, and titles rarely say which version they cover. A video titled with a sensitivity code or an iPad view trick may be BGMI-only without ever saying so. That is why so many codes found online feel broken: they were never made for the global version in the first place, and no amount of re-entering will make them work.

Sensitivity codes from BGMI do not work on global PUBG Mobile, and HUD layout codes do not transfer either. Config files and version-specific tricks from BGMI builds do not apply to global builds, even when the version numbers look close. If a code fails to import, or imports but feels completely wrong, the version mismatch is the first thing to check, before assuming your phone or your settings are at fault.

Download the global version from the official stores, use sensitivity and HUD settings made for global, and ignore BGMI-labelled codes and files entirely. For accounts and UC, the same rule applies: Pakistani players buy global PUBG Mobile accounts and global UC, which is what 217G sells through escrow on the PUBG accounts page (/en/pubg-accounts) and official top-up on the UC page (/en/pubg-uc). If a seller offers you a BGMI account for play in Pakistan, it is the wrong product for your version.
