Navigate to steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey. If a domain name or key is registered that you did not explicitly create, your account is compromised by an API scam bot. Click 'Revoke My Steam Web API Key' immediately before conducting trades.
Verify the trade URL strictly uses the exact domain https://steamcommunity.com without subtle typosquatting (e.g., stramcommunitly.com or steamcommunytie.com). Confirm the URL includes both valid 'partner=' (AccountID32) and 'token=' parameters.
Verify that Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator has been enabled for a minimum of 15 consecutive days. Changing authenticators or trade links triggers a mandatory 7-to-15 day Steam trade hold, during which bad actors attempt pullback schemes.
For account trades involving CS2 competitive profiles, ensure the seller initiates full unlinking of original Faceit credentials and secondary ESEA / ESEA-I logins, revoking active session tokens before accepting trade confirmation.
Skip crate gambling and scam risks. 217G secures every trade with a mandatory 168-hour Krafton cooldown anti-recall hold, instant video audit, and local JazzCash, Easypaisa, and Raast payment rails.
