Cinder's Cradle Building Blocks Guide

Cinder's Cradle brings a seven-block Ancients set for builders who want their base to look like it belongs in the ancient world. The set spans stone, dungeon, moonstone and decorative styles, giving you a consistent palette for ruins-style builds. Unlocking the full set takes exploration across the region, not just a single shopping trip, so treat it as a collecting goal alongside your other Cinder's Cradle work.

The first unlocks come from simply picking up materials in Cinder's Cradle. Picking up Basalt and Moonstone unlocks workbench recipes, and among those recipes are Ancient Stone, Ancient Dungeon and Moonstone blocks. This is the most natural part of the set to unlock, since you will gather these materials while exploring anyway, and the recipes appear as your material collection grows.

The rest of the set is found by exploring specific spots. The Ancient Beacon Block is found at the Island Ruin sky islands, while the Ancient Gold Block sits in a chest below the Citadel. The Weathered Ancient Stone Block waits in the Lost Ancient Temple in Blackmire, behind a Spark door, and the Ancient Circles Block is found at the Celestium Mining Site. Each of these rewards going somewhere deliberate rather than just gathering in the open.

After unlocking a block, craft it at the Workbench like any other building material, then place it with the Construction Hammer near a Flame Altar, which anchors your building area. Plan your build around the blocks you have unlocked so far, and fill gaps as new unlocks arrive, rather than waiting for the full set before starting. A base that grows with your exploration looks better and feels more personal than one built all at once at the end.
