Xbox Game Pass October 2026 Wave 2: FF7 Remake Leads [Confirmed]

Microsoft has officially revealed the second wave of Xbox Game Pass additions for late October 2026, bringing Square Enix's acclaimed Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade alongside indie breakout horror titles Mouthwashing and The Séance of Blake Manor to cloud, console, and PC subscribers worldwide. According to verified reporting from Eurogamer, this late-month drop strengthens the subscription platform's premium third-party lineup following an aggressive autumn release schedule. The standout inclusion is Square Enix's landmark action RPG, which arrived natively on the platform earlier this year alongside system enhancements like [Xbox Series X/S Adds AMD FSR 4.1 Upscaling [Confirmed]](/news/xbox-series-amd-fsr-4-update). Players can now dive directly into Cloud Strife's Midgar campaign and the Yuffie Kisaragi DLC without supplementary licensing fees. In addition to high-budget epics, Microsoft continues cultivating critical indie darling discovery. Critical sensation Mouthwashing marks its long-awaited console arrival, delivering retro surrealist psychological terror that previously dominated streaming charts, while The Séance of Blake Manor arrives to bolster narrative puzzle depth. Both titles arrive day-and-date on Game Pass for console players, giving competitive completionists and narrative aficionados immediate access to fresh achievement hunting catalogs and speedrunning categories this Halloween season.
