Valorant VCT: DFM Allows Caedye to Explore Options [Roster Lock]

According to verified reports from VLR.gg published in January 2026, DetonatioN FocusMe has officially allowed rookie standout Amon "Caedye" Mateus Okakura to explore his options as a restricted free agent following a turbulent VCT Pacific campaign. Caedye joined DFM ahead of the 2026 VCT season alongside yatsuka and head coach Vorz from Japanese Challengers side RIDDLE ORDER. Throughout the VCT Pacific Kickoff, he shared flex duties alongside veteran Duelist Meiy, securing a respectable fifth-place finish. However, as the global competitive meta shifted into post-Yoru tactical adjustments during Stage 1 and Stage 2, DFM struggled to maintain consistent form. The team pivoted toward a rigid single-Duelist structure featuring Akame, relegating Caedye to sporadic map appearances before he eventually settled into secondary Controller and Sentinel responsibilities. Despite helping guide DFM into the playoff bracket where they ultimately finished 7th-8th, the organization opted to overhaul its operational direction. Caedye released a public statement confirming he is actively evaluating new opportunities and prepared to commit fully to a roster needing his versatile agent pool. Meanwhile, DFM management is currently reviewing internal coaching structures and tier-one eligibility criteria ahead of upcoming global transfer windows.
