Nintendo Switch Online: 3 Game Boy Hits Arrive [Confirmed]

Nintendo Switch Online expands its vintage library next week with three Game Boy classics, including the 1996 cult puzzle adventure Mole Mania produced by Shigeru Miyamoto, alongside Jaleco's ghost platformer Avenging Spirit and HAL Laboratory's Revenge of the 'Gator. According to verified reports from VGC, the trio of handheld titles will roll out to standard active subscribers without requiring the premium Expansion Pack tier. Mole Mania stands out as a lost masterclass in puzzle design, where players control Muddy Mole digging underground tunnels and navigating obstacles across challenging grid worlds. Avenging Spirit delivers innovative possess-and-shoot mechanics across six arcade stages, while Revenge of the 'Gator offers tight pinball tables developed by future Smash Bros. mastermind Satoru Iwata and HAL Laboratory. This retro drop underscores Nintendo's continuous retro catalog cadence while gamers follow major community movements like [Mass Effect Cancelled: #SaveMassEffect Explodes [Confirmed]](/news/save-mass-effect-petition-bioware-ea) across the broader landscape.
