RGG Studio revealed extensive hands-on details for Stranger Than Heaven in October 2026, showcasing a groundbreaking action-adventure epic that intertwines brutal martial arts combat with theatrical show business management across a fifty-year historical narrative spanning multiple continents. According to verified reports from PlayStation Blog, the upcoming title follows protagonist Makoto Daito through a turbulent 50-year journey beginning in San Francisco in 1915, where Daito is framed for murder before boarding a mysterious vessel with fellow stowaway Yu Shinjo and Captain Orpheus. Subsequent preview chapters transport players through iconic cultural hubs including Kokura in Fukuoka, Kure in Hiroshima, and Minami in Osaka. The gameplay loops successfully merge intense, visceral brawler action featuring bone-crunching strikes with intricate management mechanics such as original song composition and live stage productions.
