Squad Busters Server Shutdown Date Set by Supercell [Confirmed]

Supercell has officially confirmed that its multiplayer action title Squad Busters will permanently shut down all game servers on December 14, 2026, marking the total sunset of the mobile title following the cessation of active content updates. According to verified reports from GamingonPhone, the decision follows an earlier announcement made in October, which established that the live-service roadmap had reached its conclusion. Squad Busters received its final content patch in December, leaving the title running on maintenance mode throughout the past calendar year. Now, the publisher is taking the ultimate step by de-listing the application from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store ahead of the December 14 server blackout. The sunsetting highlights the unforgiving nature of mobile battle-royale hybrid titles, mirroring industry-wide live-service cuts like those documented in our analysis of [GTA 6 Launch Was Originally Planned Much Earlier [Confirmed]](/news/gta-6-original-release-window-revealed). In-app purchases have been suspended, and players who still hold unused premium currency will not receive cash refunds, though Supercell is allowing players to transfer remaining balances into other flagship titles including Clash of Clans, Brawl Stars, Clash Royale, and Hay Day via Supercell ID support portals before the final cutoff.
