Pokémon TCG Pocket Update: DeNa Slows Card Releases [Confirmed]

DeNA and The Pokémon Company have officially announced a major upcoming software patch for Pokémon TCG Pocket designed specifically to tackle widespread player complaints regarding overwhelming card set release frequencies and sluggish user interface navigation across all supported mobile devices. According to verified reports from Polygon, the development team recognized that fans experienced intense burnout trying to keep pace with rapid expansion drops and constant event rotations. The upcoming structural changes aim to recalibrate how frequently new booster sets drop, giving collectors and casual duelists breathing room to build competitive decks without feeling financially pressured or rushed. Alongside content pacing adjustments, technical optimization is underway to streamline menu responsiveness and eliminate frustrating loading times that plagued early launch versions. Similar to franchise adaptations like the recent [PUBG Mobile Action & Heat Board Game Adaptation [Confirmed]](/news/pubg-mobile-action-heat-board-game), digital trading card ecosystems thrive best when content pacing supports genuine immersion rather than fatigue. DeNA promises transparent developer roadmaps in upcoming community broadcasts to detail how pack acquisition rates and matchmaking event structures will evolve throughout the 2026 seasonal calendar.
