Peak Console Launch Date: PS5, Xbox, Switch 2 Ports [Confirmed]

Viral indie co-op climbing sensation Peak officially launches on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2 on October 22, 2026, delivering complete biome expansions, custom mountain runs, and full feature parity to console platforms following its massive PC breakout. According to verified reports from Game Informer, co-developers Aggro Crab and Landfall are bundling every post-launch content package directly into the new console editions. The physics-driven climbing title exploded across Discord channels, Twitch broadcasts, and online friend groups after debuting in June 2025. Console players will immediately access all released biomes, gear upgrades, and user-tailored alpine challenges without waiting for staggered patches. This cross-platform rollout mirrors momentum seen in the [Big Walk Xbox Port: House House Backs BDS Boycott [Confirmed]](/news/big-walk-xbox-bds-boycott-confirmed) announcement, underscoring how collaborative indie multiplayer hits are commanding prime living-room hardware space. Furthermore, the Nintendo Switch 2 edition capitalizes on next-generation handheld hardware, providing fluid frame rates and high-fidelity physics simulations during hectic multi-rope scaling sessions. With seamless native controls mapped for DualSense haptics and Xbox controllers, Aggro Crab and Landfall ensure console squads enjoy the exact chaotic climbing sandbox that turned Peak into an enduring social phenomenon.
