Moon Sweepers: How to Unlock and Use JOONAS Bot [Full Guide]

To unlock and operate the J.O.O.N.A.S. bot in Moon Sweepers, players must navigate to the Services menu tab in their late-game terminal, purchase the autonomous unit for $20,000 credits, and place it directly on uncleaned terrain to initiate automated dust collection. According to verified reports from Destructoid, the smart automation drone eliminates the tedious grind of manual surface clearing across remote moon bases. Unlike basic early-tier maintenance tools, J.O.O.N.A.S. operates independently once dropped onto target sectors, navigating jagged topography and hard-to-reach craters where manual rovers struggle. Players reaching late-game milestones can redirect operational bandwidth toward base defense and energy grid management while the unit sustains continuous resource throughput. Destructoid highlights that while the $20,000 price point presents a steep barrier for nascent outposts, the machine yields exponential returns once paired with automated filtration hubs.
