Marvel Cosmic Invasion: Siege of Castle Doom DLC [Confirmed]

Marvel Cosmic Invasion developer teams officially unveiled the Siege of Castle Doom expansion on October 26, 2026, delivering an evolving rogue-lite beat-em-up game mode set within Latveria alongside playable characters Doctor Doom and the Invisible Woman to expand cooperative endgame replayability. According to verified reports from PlayStation Blog, the second major downloadable content package drops players directly into the Annihilation Wave crisis from the perspective of Latveria's sovereign ruler. The narrative framework centers on an ideological clash between Reed Richards, who guides strike teams through radio comms, and Doctor Doom, who continuously mocks incursions while reinforcing Castle Doomstadt. Much like the genre-defining combat loops covered in our preview of [Sword of Legends UE5 Action RPG Gameplay Revealed [Confirmed]](/news/sword-of-legends-ue5-action-rpg-preview), the expansion blends classic arcade brawling with modular room modifiers, escalating enemy swarms, and environmental traps. Invisible Woman brings defensive kinetic barriers and stealth crowd manipulation to high-level team compositions, while Doctor Doom controls battlefield choke points using arcane sorcery combined with heavy cybernetic ordnance. This release establishes a challenging PvE loop designed specifically to reward precision execution and team coordination.
