GTA 5 and RDR2 Leaving PS Plus Soon [Confirmed]

Grand Theft Auto 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 are officially leaving the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog this November as Sony rotates out eleven major titles to clear digital library space. According to verified reports from GameSpot News, subscribers have only a couple of weeks remaining to finish their playthroughs before the Rockstar epics depart the service. While both games have historically cycled in and out of the subscription tier—with GTA 5 returning in November 2025 and RDR2 in May—industry analysts suggest Take-Two Interactive is clearing the decks ahead of major upcoming franchise milestones. The removal affects millions of active console gamers currently grinding online heist missions or exploring frontier ecosystems. Players looking to maintain uninterrupted access without relying on rotating subscription libraries often turn to alternative ownership methods. For instance, collectors tracking digital asset trends can also review items like the [Pokemon TCG Pocket Dual Fusion Expansion Release [Confirmed]](/news/pokemon-tcg-pocket-dual-fusion) for broader gaming ecosystem shifts. Sony has not yet provided an exact timestamp for the removal, meaning completionists must act immediately to wrap up campaigns or transfer offline save data before service termination takes full effect across global regions.
