Genshin Impact 7.2 Update: Mitya, Valeriy & Snezhnaya [Confirmed]

Genshin Impact Version 7.2 will officially launch on November 4, 2026, introducing brand-new Electro characters Mitya and Valeriy, the Snezhnaya Archon Quest "Hour of Ruin," the Kristall Roots region, and a Wavebinder boss encounter. According to verified reports from Siliconera, HoYoverse unveiled the upcoming content slate during its official 7.2 Special Program livestream, revealing crucial storyline progressions surrounding the Cryo Archon Tsaritsa and the Fatui Harbingers. The broadcast also shared active redemption codes ExpertMitya, HourofRuin, and PhotoTime, granting players 300 instant Primogems alongside essential ascension materials before their rapid expiration. Phase 1 banners will feature the debut of five-star Electro catalyst user Mitya alongside four-star Electro claymore wielder Valeriy, running synchronously with a highly anticipated rerun banner for Hydro Archon Furina. Players will journey directly into the perilous "Where Kristall Roots Run Deep" zone to farm exclusive talent drops from the new Wavebinder world boss. This expansive content drop matches earlier HoYoverse momentum seen in sister titles covered in our breakdown of the [Zenless Zone Zero Sunbringer Agent: 3-in-1 [Confirmed]](/news/zenless-zone-zero-sunbringer-agent) expansion, setting up an intense winter cycle across live-service gaming ecosystems.
