Pokemon TCG: FBI Investigates 6,400 Stolen PSA Cards [Confirmed]

The Federal Bureau of Investigation and Santa Ana Police Department have launched a multi-jurisdictional criminal probe into the October 13 heist of over 6,400 graded collectible slabs, including nearly 3,000 high-value Pokémon TCG cards, stolen directly from a PSA transit shipment in California. According to verified reports from TheGamer, PSA confirmed that federal agents intervened after serial-numbered inventory surfaced across underground secondary resale channels. The breach compromised authenticated trading cards en route to authorized distribution hubs, marking one of the largest physical gaming memorabilia thefts in recent history. Similar to law enforcement responses seen in the [Miami Vice 85 Set Knife Threat: Suspect Arrested [Confirmed]](/news/miami-vice-85-set-knife-threat-arrest), authorities are coordinating across state lines to apprehend the organized syndicate behind the operation. PSA leadership has already deactivated all affected certification numbers in its master registry database, rendering the stolen slabs unsellable on major licensed auction houses or certified vendor floors. Card shops, regional tournament organizers, and convention trading hubs have received immediate hot-list alerts identifying every stolen barcoded certification number to prevent unsuspecting collectors from acquiring compromised inventory. Investigators are currently analyzing logistics facility security footage and freight manifest data to pinpoint internal operational vulnerabilities.
