CS2 Pro Aleksib Suspended Prison Sentence [Confirmed]

NAVI Counter-Strike 2 captain Aleksi ‘Aleksib’ Virolainen was handed a four-month suspended prison sentence by the Eastern Uusimaa District Court on October 27, 2026, for failing to declare €53,000 in Valve sticker revenue. According to verified reports from Dexerto Esports, the Finnish court convicted the 29-year-old star after investigators found he omitted major tournament payouts from his 2019 tax return, resulting in roughly €28,000 in unpaid taxes. While Aleksib admitted the oversight during proceedings, he maintained there was no deliberate intent to defraud authorities. The legal proceedings center on revenue generated during his tenure with ENCE, specifically stemming from historical sticker sales following major qualifications like IEM Katowice 2019. Finnish publication Helsingin Sanomat first detailed the rulings, noting the offenses occurred between May and September 2020 when the player was 22 years old. NAVI management has yet to release a formal statement regarding potential competitive implications, but legal analysts suggest the suspended sentence will not immediately impede his active playing roster commitments.
