Cooler Master HAF II 500 Review: Massive Airflow [Tested]

The Cooler Master HAF II 500 is a premium high-airflow PC chassis featuring two massive 220mm front intake fans that transform the computer case into an efficient thermal wind tunnel for demanding gaming hardware. According to verified reports from PC Gamer, this chassis stands out primarily for its extraordinary airflow capabilities and straightforward building process. First spotted at Cooler Master headquarters in Taiwan, the enclosure houses giant blowers designed to drive heavy volumes of cool air directly across the motherboard, graphics card, and VRM components. While reviewers noted that the chassis provides excellent cable management and a smart appearance, drawbacks include a bulky width, a relatively high price point of £254.36 at Amazon, and noticeable noise levels when fans operate at maximum speed. Similar in focus to alternative wind-tunnel enclosures like the Havn BF 360, the HAF II 500 prioritizes raw cooling performance over compact dimensions, making it a distinct choice for enthusiasts seeking maximum thermal headroom during marathon gaming sessions or hardware stress tests.
