Control Resonant Sells 1 Million Copies [Confirmed]: Remedy

Control Resonant officially sold one million copies in just three weeks following its digital launch in late September 2026, officially becoming Remedy Entertainment's fastest-selling video game in studio history according to verified reports from IGN Articles. Remedy celebrated this monumental milestone on October 15, expressing profound gratitude on social media channels for the overwhelming community support. Communications Director Thomas Puha succinctly captured the studio's sentiment with the statement, 'There we go. Strong start.' This explosive commercial momentum means Control Resonant has dramatically outperformed Alan Wake 2, which previously held the record as Remedy's fastest-selling title by reaching the one-million-copy milestone two months post-launch. The achievement is particularly striking given that malicious leakers successfully cracked and pirated the digital version shortly after its late-September release. Dedicated fans and community members actively rallied against unauthorized downloads, urging players to support the developers directly. This unprecedented velocity highlights Remedy Entertainment's enduring creative prowess, robust engine optimization, and unwavering audience loyalty across competitive global gaming markets, cementing their elite reputation as premier narrative-driven developers in the modern industry landscape.
