Beyond Good and Evil 2 Still in Pre-Production [Confirmed]

According to verified reports from Insider Gaming, Ubisoft's long-delayed action-adventure sequel Beyond Good and Evil 2 is still languishing in early pre-production nearly twenty years after its initial reveal, defying all standard industry development timelines. The project, originally teased way back in 2008 under creative director Michel Ancel, has suffered from continuous creative reboots, leadership departures, and shifting strategic priorities within Ubisoft. Despite intermittent glimmers of hope and leaked engine demos over the decades, insiders confirm that the ambitious open-world space opera has yet to lock down fundamental mechanics or establish a concrete production pipeline toward an alpha milestone. Executive leadership has remained tight-lipped regarding definitive launch windows, leaving the community skeptical about whether this vaporware epic will ever escape development hell and reach commercial store shelves.
