How many materials are needed to get Kill Message on a UMP45 in PUBG Mobile?

For 5-level SMGs like UMP45 Marine Evolution and Tommy Gun Steampunk, Elimination Broadcast (Kill Message) unlocks at Level 3 and requires only 3 Materials and 35 Paints (~14,700 UC). For 7-level SMGs like UMP45 EMP or Vector Golden Ear, Kill Message unlocks at Level 4 and requires 5 Materials and 85 Paints.

Why are SMG Gun Labs cheaper to upgrade than Assault Rifles?

Krafton balances SMG Gun Labs with lower material requirements. Maxing a 5-level UMP45 requires only 8 cumulative materials (compared to 27 materials for an M416 Glacier Max), saving over 65% of total UC investment.

Which SMG has the fastest time-to-kill (TTK) in PUBG Mobile?

The Vector boasts the fastest cyclic fire rate and theoretical TTK against Level 2 vests at 0.22 seconds, while the UMP45 delivers higher consistency with a 1.3x limb-damage multiplier, making it the most lethal close-quarters combat weapon in competitive scrims.

Is it cheaper to upgrade an SMG skin or buy a verified account on 217G?

Buying a verified account on 217G is significantly more cost-effective. Upgrading a UMP45 or Vector to Level 5/7 costs between $200 and $450 USD in crate draws, whereas verified pre-owned accounts with maxed SMG skins trade between $75 and $140 USD on 217G.

The CQC Meta: Why the UMP45 and Vector Dominate Modern Scrims

In competitive PUBG Mobile tournaments and high-rank Conqueror lobbies, the Submachine Gun (SMG) class has surpassed standard assault rifles in building clearance and hip-fire close-quarters combat (CQC). While an M416 requires heavy recoil stabilization attachments, a fully equipped UMP45 with a laser sight delivers pinpoint hip-fire spread with near-zero bullet deviation.

Furthermore, Krafton rewards SMG players with a 1.3x limb-damage multiplier. In fast-paced engagements where enemies crouch, slide, or strafe, arm and leg hits deal amplified damage, allowing an SMG user to win face-to-face shootouts against full Level 3 armored opponents.

65% Cheaper Upgrades

Maxing an M416 Glacier requires 27 modification materials. Maxing a 5-level UMP45 takes just 8 materials, delivering a maxed loot crate for a fraction of the cost.

Limb Damage Multiplier

Submachine guns ignore 30% of vest armor reduction when impacting extremities, making hip-fire sprays devastating in tight indoor stairwells.

Faster Strafe Speed

Character movement and jiggle-peeking speeds are 18% faster while holding an SMG compared to 7.62mm assault rifles like the Beryl or AKM.
