What Is UC in PUBG Mobile

UC, short for Unknown Cash, is the premium in-game currency in PUBG Mobile. It is separate from the free currencies you earn by playing, and it is used to buy premium items such as outfits, weapon skins, vehicle skins, crates, and Royale Pass upgrades. UC does not buy skill or better weapons in gameplay terms — it unlocks cosmetic and pass content that changes how your character and gear look, not how much damage they deal.

Players most often spend UC on the Royale Pass, which rewards a track of items as you complete missions and level up through a season. UC also opens crates and lucky spins, buys outfits and skins directly where that option exists, and lets players gift certain items to friends. Before spending, check exactly what an offer contains, whether it is a single item or a chance-based draw, and whether the item is time-limited or permanent. Reading the offer details first avoids disappointment later.

PUBG Mobile has more than one currency, and mixing them up is a common source of confusion. Free currencies earned through missions and events are spent on a smaller, mostly basic set of rewards. UC sits above them as the premium option, unlocking the wider cosmetic catalogue and the paid Royale Pass track. Some items can be earned either way over time, while others are only available through premium offers, so compare the free track and the premium track before deciding what matters to you.

Spend UC with a plan rather than on impulse. Decide whether you want a full pass, a single outfit you will actually use, or a crate draw, and skip offers that do not match that goal. Watch for duplicate items in chance-based draws, where you may receive something you already own. Keep your account secure when topping up: use only the official in-game store, never share login details with a seller promising discounted currency, and double-check every confirmation screen before completing a purchase.
