UMP45 & Vector Sensitivity

UMP45 and Vector are close-range weapons: high fire rate, manageable recoil, and damage that falls off fast with distance. The sensitivity that matters most is red dot and close tracking, not 6x spray control, because SMG fights happen within a few metres where targets move fast across your screen. A setup tuned for long-range rifles will feel sluggish in exactly the fights SMGs are meant to win.

Community-circulated starting points for SMG play keep red dot ADS relatively high, so your crosshair can track strafing enemies at close range without dragging behind. These are starting points from community posts, not official values, and they shift with your phone and grip. If your crosshair lags behind strafing targets, raise red dot ADS in small steps; if it overshoots and swings past them, lower it. Test with the same drill every time: track a strafing target at close range before changing anything else.

A compensator steadies the spray, a vertical grip helps the Vector's climb, and an extended magazine matters more on SMGs than on rifles because the high fire rate empties magazines fast. A laser sight helps hip-fire accuracy in the closest fights, where scoping costs time you do not have. The best attachment set is the one you can hold consistently in practise, not the one a video calls perfect.

Drill strafing duels in the training ground: strafe, stop, spray, strafe again, until the pattern stays on target while moving. Then practise hip-fire at point-blank range, where SMGs shine and scoping wastes time. Then add peek shots from cover, since SMG fights are often won by the player who exposes less. If you want rare SMG skins without the crate grind, accounts that already own them are listed on the PUBG accounts page (/en/pubg-accounts).
