Settings vs Files vs Panels: The Safe Comparison

Official settings are the sliders, layouts and graphics options inside the game's own menus: sensitivity, HUD layout, graphics and frame rate. They carry no ban risk at all, because the game itself provides them, and they are the only route that can be tuned, saved to the cloud and restored after an update without fear. Their limit is honest: they cannot give you abilities the game does not offer, such as seeing through walls or removing recoil entirely. That limit is the price of safety, and it is worth paying.

Config files replace game data files with versions that change gameplay: recoil, FPS, view, unlocked visuals or other behaviour. Every file in this category modifies the client, which the game treats as cheating, and the punishment runs from temporary bans to 10-year and device bans. Files also carry malware and login-theft risk from their distribution channels. A file that does only what it claims is still a modification; a file that hides more than it claims is worse. There is no safe config file that changes gameplay, whatever the seller promises.

Panels and mod menus are cheat software with a menu: toggles for ESP, aimbot, radar and other cheats, sold by subscription or one-time payment. They combine the highest ban risk with the highest scam risk, because panel sellers routinely disappear with payments, sell the same panel to players who then report each other, and bundle login stealers with their installers. A panel is not a config with a nicer interface; it is a cheat product, and it is treated as one by detection, by bans and by every warning on this site.

Settings are safe and limited. Files are risky and temporary, since updates break them and detection catches them. Panels are the riskiest and the most expensive, combining bans with payment scams. If a route needs a download, a file replacement, a panel or a loader, it is not a safer version of settings; it is a different category with a different punishment. The safe choice is settings tuned properly, and if you want stronger gear without the grind, ready accounts are available through escrow on the PUBG accounts page (/en/pubg-accounts).
