PUBG Mobile 4.4 Update Explained

Version 4.4 adds the Hero's Crown themed mode, inspired by ancient Greek mythology, bringing gods, heroes, and legend into the battleground. Themed modes reshape a match with new places, encounters, and goals, giving familiar maps a fresh identity. Hero's Crown does this through mythic imagery and storytelling, inviting players to feel like heroes in an old legend. It is a bold theme, and it changes how a match feels from the first drop.

The update revamps several Erangel areas, including Yasnaya Polyana, Ruins, Ferry Pier, and Mylta, reshaping familiar ground for the new theme. Above them floats Crown's Abode, a floating island that draws the eye and invites daring visits. A centaur boss named Helios waits as a formidable encounter for squads brave enough to challenge him. Explore these places carefully, since new terrain rewards scouting and punishes careless drops.

Alongside the new places, the update introduces a team Honor system, rewarding squads that play together with spirit and discipline. Honor systems encourage teamwork, fair play, and mutual support, values that win matches as surely as good aim. Play for your squad, revive teammates, share resources, and the system recognises that conduct. Themed modes are most fun when squads embrace them together, so bring friends and play honourably.
