PUBG Mobile 4.3 Update Explained

Version 4.3 is PUBG Mobile's anniversary update, a celebration of the game's history built around an anniversary themed area. Anniversary updates look backwards as well as forwards, inviting long-time players to remember where the game began. The themed area gives that nostalgia a place to live inside a match, turning celebration into something you can explore. For newer players, it is a friendly introduction to the game's past, told through its world.

The update's Memory Lane style missions revisit moments from game history, asking players to complete tasks that echo earlier eras of play. Missions like these work as a guided tour, rewarding curiosity and giving every match a small extra goal. They suit both veterans, who recognise the references, and newcomers, who discover the history for the first time. Play them at your own pace, and enjoy the references without rushing through the celebration.

Alongside the celebration, the update includes balance adjustments and anti-cheat work, the quiet maintenance that keeps matches fair. Balance changes tune how weapons, modes, and systems feel, while anti-cheat work targets unfair play behind the scenes. Neither is glamorous, but both matter more than any cosmetic, since fair matches are the foundation of fun. Read the official update notes for details, and report suspicious play through the game's own tools.
