Is Buying a CoD Mobile Account Safe?

Buying a CoD Mobile account is risky. Activision account recovery means the original owner can often take the account back after the sale, and a strong inventory does not prevent that. What decides safety is not what the account contains, but whether control of it — every linked account and recovery channel — has fully changed hands.

CoD Mobile accounts are tied to Activision accounts and linked logins, and those links are the recovery path. If the seller keeps the original email, a linked social login, or any other recovery channel, they can ask for access back, change the credentials, and lock the buyer out. A password change alone does not close that path. Until every linked account transfers to the buyer, the seller keeps a way back in.

A safer deal uses escrow, live in-game verification, and full transfer before payment releases. Escrow holds payment until the buyer confirms control. Live verification means checking the rank, weapons, and skins inside the game, not trusting screenshots. Full transfer means the original email, phone number, Activision account, and every linked login change hands, with the seller's sessions ended, before the money moves.

The safest route is building your own account: play ranked yourself, and earn or buy items through the game's own systems. Your progress is then yours from day one, with no recovery risk and no dispute to fight. If you do buy, refuse any deal that skips escrow, rushes verification, or leaves a linked account with the seller — those gaps are exactly how recovery scams work.
