How to Create a Valorant Account the Right Way

Valorant runs on a Riot account, so creating that account is the real first step. Go to the official Riot Games site and sign up with an email address you control, a strong password, and a date of birth. Use an email you can still open later, because that inbox is how you recover the account if you ever lose access. Do not create the account through a random link in a video or chat message, because fake sign-up pages are a common way to steal new accounts.

During sign-up you choose a Riot ID, which is the display name other players see, plus a short tagline after it. Pick a name you are happy to keep, because changing it later is possible only through your Riot account settings and changes are limited. You also pick a region, and that choice decides which servers you connect to, so choose the region where you actually play for the lowest delay. If you are in Pakistan, pick the region that gives you the most stable connection in practice, not the one a streamer uses.

Once the Riot account exists, download the Riot client from the official Riot site and install Valorant through it. This is the only safe download route. Files shared in groups, file-hosting links, and so-called early or unlocked installers are not official and can carry malware or get your account flagged. Make sure you have enough free storage before the download starts, and use a stable connection so the install finishes cleanly. After installation, sign in with the same Riot account you just created.

Before you queue for your first match, verify the email address on the account and turn on two-factor authentication in your Riot account settings. Add a recovery method you control, and never share your password, login code, or account details with anyone, including people offering skins, boosts, or free in-game currency. A new account with no protection is an easy target, and recovering a stolen account takes far longer than setting up protection does. Players who want to compare account options can also look at Valorant Points options in Pakistan or browse the store once their account is secure.
