Enshrouded Plant Fiber Farming Guide

Plant fiber is one of Enshrouded's basic crafting materials, and it shows up in early crafting recipes across gear and base building. Because it feeds into so many everyday crafts, running out of it is a common frustration for new players. Treat it as a staple: you will gather it constantly, and a healthy stockpile keeps your crafting flowing without constant detours.

The farming method is gathering from vegetation as you move through the world. Plants and shrubs you pass are worth harvesting rather than ignoring, since fiber accumulates fast when you make gathering a habit. Do not treat gathering as a separate chore you only do when you run out; fold it into every trip, and your stock will stay ahead of your crafting needs.

Efficient farming is about routes, not grinding one spot. Revisit areas you already know, since vegetation regrows and familiar ground lets you gather quickly without getting lost. Plan loops that pass through vegetated areas on your way to other goals, so fiber farming rides along with exploration, quests and building runs instead of eating a whole session by itself.

The long-term habit is simple: gather a little on every trip, bank the surplus, and check your stock before starting a big crafting project. Players who run dry are usually players who stopped gathering once they felt comfortable, then hit a recipe spree that drained them. A steady trickle beats a desperate farm run every time, and it keeps the early game feeling smooth rather than grindy.
