Zealot Boss Guide

Boss fights in Belmont's Curse are gates: beating one changes what you can do and where you can go. The Zealot fits that design, so the fight is worth preparing for rather than rushing into. Approach it as a test of what you have learned so far, including movement, timing, and composure under pressure. A boss gate rewards players who arrive ready and punishes players who treat the fight as a quick obstacle.

Spend your early attempts learning rather than winning. Watch how the boss opens, how it moves between attacks, and where the safe moments sit after each sequence. Notice which attacks force you to move and which leave room to respond. This observation phase feels slow, but it is the fastest route to a win: a boss you understand is a boss you can plan around, while a boss you only react to will keep surprising you.

Fight with patience once you know the patterns. Reposition after the boss finishes an attack sequence instead of standing where the next attack will land, and take damage only during openings you have already identified as safe. Use ranged options when closing in is dangerous rather than forcing close combat. If a phase changes the rhythm, return briefly to observation before committing: learning the new pattern matters more than landing one extra hit.

Patience and preparation win boss fights and protect trades alike. The 217G escrow guide explains how to slow a deal down and check it properly, and the 217G daily room page shows how community play is run with clear, fair details.
