ARC Raiders Insulation Roll Location Guide

The Insulation Roll is an Epic material in ARC Raiders, and it is needed for the final Outpost expansion, which is why so many raiders go looking for it. It also turns up as a requirement in project stages, so keep any roll you find rather than recycling it until your projects are done. The key fact to know first is that it spawns on one map only: Pendola Pass, the snowy summit map from the Frozen Trail update. Searching any other map for it wastes the whole raid.

The strongest search spots are all on Pendola Pass. Almatera Station has the most spawn spots, and most of them sit in the shelf room on the second floor, reached by the escalators from the main entrance. Cielo Sereno Observatory is another strong stop, with desks, drawers, lockers and a key room full of shelving. Freight Terminal and the Railyard round out the list, with parked train cars and carriage seats worth checking. Start at whichever of these is closest to your drop and work through the buildings methodically.

Most Insulation Roll spawns are loose loot lying out in the open, so look at surfaces as you move: shelves and storage racks, tables, counters, desks, and train-car seats. Containers can hold one too, so open the containers you pass instead of walking past them. Nothing guarantees a drop on any single raid, so treat each run as a sweep of the best spots rather than a sure thing. Check the loot value shown for each area when the raid starts, since higher-value zones tend to hold better loot.

Storm Huts are emergency shelters scattered across Pendola Pass, and they open during a Flash Freeze storm. Many raiders report these shelters as one of the better places to find an Insulation Roll, so head to the nearest hut when a storm starts. Keep an eye on the weather and plan your route so a hut is within reach when the freeze hits. If you find a roll, store it safely and extract, since losing it in a failed raid means starting the hunt again.
