Aion 2 Altgard Region Explained

Altgard is a region in Aion 2, a named area of the world with its own landscape, settlements, and quest lines for players passing through. Regions like Altgard exist to pace the journey, giving each stage of the game a distinct place with its own characters and stories. Exploring a region means meeting its quest givers, learning its layout, and understanding how it connects to neighbouring areas. Think of Altgard as one chapter of a larger world, worth exploring thoroughly before moving on.

Quests in a region usually form a loose chain, with each completed task opening the next area, character, or story beat. Your quest journal is the best guide, showing active objectives, locations, and story threads in one place. The in-game map complements it, marking quest markers, travel points, and region borders so you can plan a sensible route. Following the journal and map together keeps you from wandering aimlessly or missing a step that unlocks later content.

Explore Altgard slowly, talking to every marked character and reading each quest description before rushing to the next marker. Check the map for areas you have not visited, since quiet corners often hold side quests or useful characters. If a guide describes something you cannot find, the game may have changed, or the guide may cover a different version. Trust what the game itself shows you, and let the journal and map lead the way through the region.
