Xbox Game Pass October 2026: 8 Titles Leaving [Confirmed]

Xbox Game Pass is officially removing eight video games from its subscription catalog on October 31, 2026, headlined by the critically acclaimed blockbuster LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga alongside seven other console and PC titles across multiple gaming tiers. According to verified reports from Game Rant, this late-month purge matches the record for the most catalog departures within a single month throughout 2026. Players subscribed to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, or standard console tiers will forfeit access to the expansive open-galaxy LEGO adventure, which delivered hundreds of playable characters, planetary exploration hubs, and complete saga narrative adaptations. While Microsoft rotates third-party releases regularly to make room for first-party investments, the scale of this rotation catches completionists mid-campaign. Gamers holding active subscriptions can utilize a 20% membership purchase discount to retain permanent ownership before the October 31 cutoff. Similar to industry-wide subscription shifts noted in our coverage of [Epic Games AI Golden Age: Sweeney Predicts 2026 Boom [Confirmed]](/news/epic-games-ai-golden-age), digital catalog churn continues to drive players toward permanent asset collection and dedicated library ownership rather than temporary license renting.
