WoW Forever RP-PvP Server Added: New Ruleset Launch [Confirmed]

WoW Forever RP-PvP Server will open for name reservations on October 27, adding a fourth server ruleset that blends role‑playing and player‑versus‑player combat, joining existing PvE, PvP, and RP realms under Blizzard’s massive shared‑realm architecture that consolidates all players onto a single world instance. According to verified reports from GameSpot News, Blizzard announced the new RP‑PvP option via its official Twitter feed, emphasizing community demand that has been vocal for years. The server will operate alongside the three current rulesets—PvE, PvP, and RP—allowing players to choose a hybrid experience without needing a separate physical server. Blizzard also confirmed a Hardcore permadeath ruleset is slated for release before Spring 2027, further expanding the server ecosystem. This move mirrors the company’s broader strategy to simplify server management while offering diverse gameplay experiences, a shift first seen in the Classic era.
