Warhammer 40K Boltgun 2 Revealed: Dual Heroes [Confirmed]

Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 has been officially confirmed as an expanded retro-shooter sequel by publisher Devolver Digital, introducing dual playable protagonists, revamped combat variety, and extensive campaign replayability across PC and consoles in late 2026. According to verified reports from Kotaku, the follow-up to Auroch Digital's 2023 hit expands beyond Space Marine Malum Caedo by adding Sister of Battle Nyla Veyrath as a fully playable alternative protagonist.

Kotaku's hands-on reporting reveals that players can switch between Caedo's hulking, devastating armor and Veyrath's rapid, highly agile offensive kit. While Caedo retains his signature heavy boltgun and crowd-clearing shotgun, Veyrath brings an incendiary flamethrower and a precision crossbow into battle against heretical hordes. Players can complete levels as one operative and immediately replay them using the other, allowing divergent pathing through significantly wider environments and against larger demon variety.
