WARDOGS: How to Skip the Tutorial Fast [Full Guide]

WARDOGS players can now officially bypass the game's lengthy mandatory opening combat tutorial by opening the settings pause menu during the initial firing range sequence, confirming a rapid skip sequence that sends operatives straight into live multiplayer action. According to verified reports from Insider Gaming, the tactical military shooter originally forced newly recruited operatives through a rigid multi-phase boot camp covering rudimentary movement mechanics, grenade trajectories, and cover mantling. However, players seeking immediate action discovered that navigating to the system menu immediately after the opening cinematic renders a direct 'Return to Barracks' prompt, which completes the tutorial flag and unlocks full match creation without penalizing starter rewards. This bypass provides an essential shortcut for veteran tactical shooter squads migrating across PC and console ecosystems, similar to hype cycles spotlighted during [Steam Next Fest October 2026 Free Demos [Confirmed Guide]](/news/steam-next-fest-october-demos). The development team designed the introductory drills primarily for newcomers unfamiliar with tactical pacing, yet confirmed no competitive penalties apply to operatives electing to deploy straight into active combat queues. By utilizing this shortcut, veteran squads bypass unnecessary delay, calibrating custom keybinds and sensitivity values directly against real opponents across standard unranked skirmish lobbies.
