Valorant VCT Pacific Partner Status: Global Esports Quits [Confirmed]

According to verified reports from VLR.gg, Valorant Champions Tour Pacific organizations have officially begun announcing their new partner status selections for the upcoming competitive cycle while massive structural tier-one roster shuffles unfold rapidly across multiple Asian territories. Following the conclusion of Champions Shanghai and the previous partnership agreement, the upcoming VCT cycle transitions from ten partnered teams per region down to eight, splitting regions into distinct localized jurisdictions including South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Southeast Asia, South Asia, and Oceania. Concurrently, foundational organizations like Global Esports announced they will shut down operations entirely and release their complete player rosters, including PatMen, UdoTan, Kr1stal, xavi8k, and Autumn. Meanwhile, Nongshim RedForce—ranked #1 in Korea—alongside other contenders revealed they were not selected for the initial partner phase, prompting intense discussions regarding franchise sustainability and roster futures. These developments parallel shifts seen in Western leagues, such as those detailed in the [Valorant VCT Americas Partners: Sentinels & LOUD In [Confirmed]](/news/vct-americas-partner-teams-revealed-sentinels) intelligence briefing. Industry analysts emphasize that this geographic restructuring aims to foster deeper grassroots engagement but creates immediate competitive turbulence for established franchises striving to secure financial backing and roster stability ahead of the 2026 circuit kickoffs.
