Valorant Keiko Leaves NRG After One Season [Roster Lock]

Georgio "keiko" Sanassy has officially departed from North American VCT powerhouse NRG as a restricted free agent following a successful single season with the 2025 world championship squad, according to highly verified reports published on VLR.gg. With the conclusion of Champions, NRG informed him that he would not continue next year, allowing him to explore outside opportunities. Keiko originally joined NRG to replace s0m following his retirement after their trophy-lifting run at Champions Paris, marking his first competitive foray outside of Europe. During his tenure, keiko established himself as an exceptionally versatile Duelist, showcasing the ability to seamlessly flex across Controller, Sentinel, and Duelist roles. Across 12 distinct agents, his adaptability proved vital for an NRG lineup that constantly shifted strategies throughout the year. Before his stint in North America, keiko spent two seasons with Team Liquid and propelled Apeks to a stellar runner-up finish at EMEA Ascension in 2023, while also reuniting with former teammate bonkar. As free agency opens, multiple tier-one organizations are expected to aggressively pursue his signature, given his proven international pedigree, mechanical ceiling, and tactical flexibility in the ever-evolving VCT ecosystem.
