Valorant: Global Esports Quits VCT Pacific [Confirmed]

Global Esports has officially exited professional Valorant and terminated its VCT Pacific partnership in October 2026, releasing its entire championship-winning roster into unrestricted free agency to pivot company resources fully into an artificial intelligence venture branded as GE Studios. According to verified reports from TalkEsport, founder and CEO Rushindra Sinha confirmed that the organization is departing competitive esports entirely following their historic run. The timing stunned the international competitive scene, coming mere weeks after Global Esports captured their inaugural VCT Pacific Stage 2 trophy in September 2026 and represented the region at Valorant Champions Shanghai. Sinha revealed that this strategic pivot was planned well in advance; the organization proactively notified Riot Games during franchise evaluations in November 2025 that 2026 would mark their final competitive campaign. This departure follows broader ecosystem realignments, echoing recent franchise shifts detailed in our report on [Valorant VCT Pacific Partner Status: Global Esports Quits [Confirmed]](/news/vct-pacific-partner-status-global-esports-exits) and roster consolidations across APAC. All active players have been granted immediate permission to explore tier-one offers across Pacific, Americas, and EMEA leagues without contractual buyout encumbrances.
