Valorant GC 2026: Gentle Mates and KRÜ Win Openers [Confirmed]

According to verified reports from VLR.gg, Gentle Mates GC and KRÜ BLAZE captured decisive upper bracket quarterfinal victories at the Valorant Game Changers 2026 Championship on day two, relegating tournament favorites Team Liquid Brazil and Gen.G GC to the lower elimination rounds. The European contenders Gentle Mates GC delivered a clinical tactical showing against Team Liquid Brazil, overcoming regional pedigree with crisp utility coordination and relentless post-plant denial. Liquid struggled to establish mid-round tempo against European defensive defaults, dropping crucial eco-conversion rounds that swung momentum away from the Brazilian powerhouse. Concurrently, Latin American standouts KRÜ BLAZE dismantled Pacific representatives Gen.G GC in a masterclass of map pacing. KRÜ neutralized aggressive early duels through disciplined crossfire spacing, preventing Gen.G from converting first bloods into round conversions. Just as high-pressure sporting turnarounds mirror the intensity seen in [Kuldeep Yadav NZ vs IND 2026: Playing XI Analysis [Confirmed]](/news/kuldeep-yadav-nz-vs-ind-2026), these Game Changers squads demonstrated that tactical composure overrides raw star power under international stage spotlights. Gentle Mates and KRÜ BLAZE now advance directly into the upper semifinals, placing both rosters one series away from locking podium placement while Liquid and Gen.G battle through sudden-death lower bracket brackets.
